SPESHILOVA SHOPPING

Speshilova Shopping on the outskirts of Perm, Russia near the Ural Mountain range is semi-circular regional shopping center designed around and existing operating outdoor karting track. The two-level center has a number of entries along the curved perimeter leading directly to on-grade parking designed within an expansive garden-like landscape. The architecture is a contemporary take on the modern shopping center which gains ample natural light from vertical surfaces that punctuate a uniform, but dynamic form and facade treatment.
